The visualisation of movement lies at the core of these works. Banz & Bowinkel use recorded movements from a performance session in the studio, translating this into an avatar which paints the movements as liquids in a virtual space.

They then add the second layer consisting of an animated augmented reality sculpture, which can be seen with the aid of their specially developed application: Banz & Bowinkel.

The viewer is confronted with complexity of vision, as one movement is made easily visible but fixed in a print while the part that is moving can only be accessed with a device.
